Personal information collection statement: Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collect, use, disclose, share and transfer overseas the personal data you provide on the form above and other personal data you provide to us or that we collect in connection with or during the course of your GC membership (e.g. your travel and amenities preferences and feedback). We do this for the performance of our agreement with you, in order to: (a) fulfill contractual obligations to you and other persons (e.g. travel agents, credit card companies and airline operators); (b) process your GC membership application and to administer your GC membership (including to contact you about your enrolment and to send you GC membership materials and correspondence); for our legitimate commercial interests, in order to: (c) provide services and information when you visit our resorts and hotels and otherwise under the GC programme, and to provide you with a more personalised level of service; (d) manage and verify your privileges as a GC member; (e) conduct market analysis, market research, customer satisfaction and quality assurance surveys; and to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject: (f) to meet worldwide legal and regulatory requirements. We would also like to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes but can only do so if you consent to this - see "Direct Marketing" section below. To apply for GC membership, you must supply certain personal data and other information as indicated by an asterisk on the above form. We may not be able to process or administer your application or membership if you do not provide such mandatory data.
Direct marketing: From time to time we would like to use your name, email address, mobile phone number and other relevant contact information to send you either via emails, monthly e-Statements, SMS messages, telephone calls, push notification, post, or social media (e.g. WeChat and Facebook) information that we think may be of interest to you, including about our hotels, products and services, news about our loyalty programme(s) (if you become a member), satisfaction surveys, events, offers and promotions, but we cannot do so without your consent. Please tick the relevant box below if you would like to receive these communications.
We would also like to share (for gain) such data about you with the operator of the hotel or hub of hotels in which you stay or visit and with other selected third party entities so that you can receive information, news updates, special events, offers and promotions as regards their products and services, including travel, transportation, retail, food and beverage, hotel accommodation, credit cards, financial and investment services, real estate, entertainment, publications, fashion and jewellery, leisure and sports, health and wellness, non-profit and charitable activities, telecommunications, social networking, media and public relations, but we also cannot do so without your consent.
