Kenan Demirel's first memory of food is the aroma of his grandma's woodfire kitchen. At that time, he always looked forward to going to his grandma's house just for a taste of the delicious dishes, in spite of the long distance. His mom also let him watch how she cooked, enabling him to cook lots of dishes since the age of 16. Influenced by his grandma and mom, he has great passion for food and cooking. 'It seems to me that the most interesting part of becoming a chef is that you can have unlimited creativity, integrating your own philosophy into different cuisines and coming out with a new and unique style that belongs to you. Every time I see my guests enjoying the food with a contented smile, I feel extremely proud and happy.'
