Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok welcomes the beauty of Chinese music and culture through an auspicious Chinese New Year festival featuring sumptuous specialties available for lunch and dinner. Celebrate the Year of the Dog at Shang Palace, from 15 to 18 February 2018.
Guests will not only be able to indulge in special set menus, crafted by Executive Chinese Chef, Chow Wai Man and his team, but also enjoy live Guzheng music at dinner on 15 February 2018, and for both lunch and dinner on 16 February 2018.
2 special set menus are available:
• Prosperity Set - THB 25,888 net per table (maximum 10 guests)
• Longevity Set - THB 29,888 net per table (maximum 10 guests)
Exclusively for this year, Chef Chow has created Loh Hei dishes to celebrate the auspicious occasion:
• Lo Hei Salmon at THB 1,288 net, for 2-4 persons, and at THB 1,988 net, for 5-10 persons
• Lo Hei Abalone and Salmon at THB 1,688 net, for 2-4 persons, and at THB 2,888 net, for 5-10 persons
Guests can also enjoy special Chinese New Year Dim Sum and à la carte menus.
Additionally, an exuberant performance by dragon and lion dancers is scheduled on Friday, 16 February 2018, at 10.15am, at the main entrance of the hotel's Shangri-La Wing. This traditional lion dance ceremony is believed to bring good luck, prosperity and happiness to guests and their families.
